Can you work from a rough demo?+
Yes. Most productions start from a voice memo, a rough demo or a partial arrangement. What matters is having a clear sense of the song's intention.
Does the production include mixing and mastering, or is that a separate step?+
Full production covers the whole path — arrangement, recording, mixing and mastering — inside one process, so the song doesn't change hands or lose intention between stages.
How long does a full production usually take?+
It depends on the number of songs and how developed the material is when we start, but a single song typically runs 3 to 6 weeks from the first session to final delivery. I'll give you a realistic timeline once I hear the material.
Do you play and record the instruments yourself, or bring in session musicians?+
Both, depending on what the song calls for. I play and record several instruments myself, and bring in session musicians for anything outside that range, always coordinated so the arrangement stays consistent.
Do I keep the rights to my song?+
Yes. You own your song and the final masters. I'm hired as producer and engineer, and production credit is agreed upfront, but the rights stay with you.
Can we work together if I'm not based near you?+
Yes, most productions run remotely — voice memos, references and files shared online, with calls at key points. If you're nearby, some sessions can also be done in person.
What do I receive when the production is finished?+
A finished, mastered WAV (and MP3 on request), plus organized stems if you need them for future mixes, remixes or sync.
